Samuel Kanyon Doe was a Great man. The saying ‘Many are called and few are chosen‘ comes to mind.
ECOWAS was supposed to be neutral and peaceful instead, they brought trickery and deceit.
He could have left the battlefield for peaceful pastures, but chose to stay and fight the good fight for his people. He died like a brave soldier and never gave in to their selfish demands. You cannot kick a man to the floor when he has already humbled himself on the floor. As he said, it was all part of God’s great plan and ‘rat trap is not for rat only’
It has been more than 17 years since his flight to the heavens and Liberia is still only a shadow of her former self. Forever gone are her normal days. The rich are richer and the poor are poor.

Papa Papa Papa.....I miss you oh so much, if only to hear your voice or give you a hug I would go to the ends of the earth. I know you're looking down on me and I just want to make you proud. Hey Papa...as you can see, the Liberian people are still ignorant, nothing much has changed....but through God, we will have the last laugh. They blamed you, but almost 18 years later after you've been gone, the country is nothing close to how you had it...they haven't prospered. I love and I miss you. My sweet Guardian Angel.

The truth shall set Liberia free
Lies and propaganda brought war to Liberia and eventually the rest of Africa. They set out to get rid of Doe at any cost necessay, didn't matter if the rest of Liberia suffered. What you read in the West is not the view of the majority native person in Liberia. How else can you get people to fight? Unless you tell lies and horrible lies to conquer and divide. Ellen Sirleaf financed Charles Taylor and their rebels? Who else owned all the newspapers and media outlet in Liberia except them and their croonies.
During the war, they killed everyone who crossed their path and hid out in churches. Dressed like missionary and nuns they smuggled guns into the Lutheran Church and other churches. Closeby the Executive Mansion, they fired guns day in and out.
Doing the times of Doe, the economy was good, the Liberian Dollar was competitive against the dollar, but now its worthless. Education was affordable and free, Rice was free, electricity and water were accessible. Now only few have enough to eat and a decent place to sleep. Prostitution, gun robbery and unemployment is high. So why did they had to bring war?? Who has gained? Liberia has been raped and exploited by international companies and her daughters alike!
Please people, wake up and ask questions, don't just be robots and vomit what you were told. Do you know how long Ellen has been trying to get the presidency at any cost. Ask questions. Who really profits when African war? Read books written by Samuel Doe (thats if you can get your hands on it).
